Two Green Bay police officers have been released from a hospital after their squad cars crashed on the way to a wreck.
The Green Bay Police Department said the officers hit each other Tuesday on a downtown bridge. Lt. Jeffrey Brester told that one car rear-ended the other, causing the first to hit a barrier on the bridge. He said the cars were damaged. The officers were treated and released from a hospital.
Police said they don't know how fast the officers were driving. They haven't been identified.
The officers were headed to a moped and vehicle crash in which one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
