HASKELL COUNTY, KS : 2 hurt in Haskell County crash on Saturday, 12th October 2024

Two people were injured after a crash in rural western Kansas Saturday night.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened just after midnight at the junction of U-83 and U-56, less than a mile west of Sublette.

A semi-truck was heading north on U-83 when it failed to stop at an intersection and hit a minivan, according to KHP. The minivan came to a stop in the northwest ditch.

The driver of the minivan was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The passenger was hospitalized with minor injuries.
