Columbus, OH : Downtown exits and highways reopen after crash on May,Tuesday 2nd 2017
A crash involving a semi-tractor trailer spilled large quantities of diesel fuel on northbound Interstate 75 at the Brent Spence Bridge Tuesday, police said. Several interchanges were closed for more than five hours.
The southbound I-75 Sixth Street exit, the Sixth Street to Fort Washington Way interchange and the Fort Washington Way to I-75 south interchange were all closed along with northbound I-75 at the Brent Spence Bridge.
Everything reopened at approximately 3 p.m.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the crash. Police said cleaning up the diesel fuel caused the long closures.
