Orlando, FL : Kissimmee man killed in toll booth crash on S.R. 417 in Orlando on Thursday, August 21, 2014

A Kissimmee man died after crashing into a toll booth on State Road 417 in Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said Dylan Smith, 22, crashed in the northbound lanes of S.R. 417 at Lee Vista Boulevard just after 3 a.m. Thursday. He was ejected from his Ford Mustang and died on the scene. Troopers said the initial finding on the cause of the crash is suicide. The toll booth's cash lanes were closed and tolls were suspended while the Florida Department of Transportation worked the scene of the crash, troopers said. The crash has been cleared, but two cash lanes will remain closed for a few days, according to Jeff Marshall of the Central Florida Expressway Authority.
