ST. JAMES, MN : Driver killed in construction zone crash in southern Minnesota on Tuesday, 16th October 2018

A 35-year-old Wisconsin man was killed after he missed a lane change in a construction zone and collided head-on with another vehicle Wednesday night, Oct. 16, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

According to the report, a 2004 Jeep Cherokee driven by Derek Arthur Anderson of Marinette, Wis., was traveling eastbound on Highway 60 when it entered a construction zone. His vehicle collided with a 2015 Jeep Cherokee driven by Lisa Jennie Brown, 44, of Sioux Falls, S.D.


Brown, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to a Rochester hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Anderson was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
