Coupeville, WA : Two people injured after motorcycle crash Highway 20 in Coupeville on Saturday February 20 2016

Two people were injured Saturday morning after their motorcycle was struck by a car and pushed into a third vehicle that was turning onto State Highway 20 in Coupeville, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred around 8:43 a.m.Gary Hoyt, 66, and Linda Hoyt, 65, both of Greenbank, were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
A 1998 Pontiac Bonneville driven by a 16-year-old Oak Harbor girl was traveling southbound on Highway 20, approaching Northwest Broadway, attempted to turn left onto Broadway, and struck the motorcycle on which the Hoyts were riding, according to a State Patrol report. The Hoyts’ motorcycle was pushed by the Bonneville into a 1993 Mercury Sable being driven by Billy J. Regan, 73, of Coupeville.
The girl driving the Bonneville was not injured.
Cause of the accident was failure to yield right of way, according to the State Patrol report. Charges are pending.
The Pontiac Bonneville and the Hoyts’ motorcycle — a 2012 Can Am Spyder — were totaled and impounded. Both vehicles were taken to Christianson’s Towing, according to the State Patrol.
