BENTON, IL : One person flown to hospital after rollover crash in southern Illinois on Friday, 31st May 2024

One person was taken to the hospital after being injured in a rollover crash in Franklin County, Illinois.

According to Illinois State Police, Troop 10 responded to Interstate 57 northbound just south of the Benton exit on mile marker 70. This was for the report of a rollover single-vehicle, personal injury traffic crash in the construction zone.

The Toyota passenger car came to a rest on its side, partially in the lane. One person has been transported via medical helicopter to a regional hospital with injuries.
