A 3-year-old Fort Myers girl died from her injuries in a Sunday night crash.

Irah Sibert died early Monday at Health Park Hospital as a result of her injuries sustained during the crash on Veronica S. Shoemaker Boulevard at Dora Street.

A police spokesman said there was serious bodily injury to all other passengers.

The crash shut down Shoemaker's north and southbound lanes between Edison Avenue to Hanson Street.

Police said it remains an active investigation and no further information will be released at this time. Anyone with information regarding the crash is encouraged to contact the Fort Myers Police Department.
