Yonkers, NY : Man hit and killed by a car on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers on Thursday, December 17, 2015

Authorities are working to identify a man who was hit by a car and killed on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers.

Westchester County police say happened around 6:30 a.m. Thursday as the man was trying to cross the road.

The crash appears to be accidental and police say no charges have been filed.
