Pikeville,NC : 2 dead, 1 seriously injured after crash in Pender County on October, Sunday 8th 2017

Two people are dead and one person is critically injured after a head on collision on Highway 210 in Pender County just before noon on Sunday.
According to a State Highway Patrol Trooper on the scene, the crash involved two vehicles.
One vehicle was traveling eastbound and the other was traveling westbound on highway 210.
At a curve on highway 210, just past the intersection at Borough Road, one of the vehicles was traveling at an excessive speed, lost control, slid sideways into the eastbound shoulder and crossed the center line which caused the collision.
Highway patrol trooper, Ben Chappell said the roadway was wet at the time of the crash.
The two victims were in the vehicle that was speeding and crossed the center line.
The driver of the other vehicle was pulled out of the vehicle by airlink and taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
