APPLE VALLEY, CA : Woman & toddler injured in Apple Valley crash on Thursday, 4th October 2018

A woman and her 2-year-old daughter suffered major injuries and were airlifted to a trauma center following a crash Wednesday evening.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said they’re still investigating the circumstances of the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Central and Ottawa roads at 7:59 p.m.

Officials said the 23-year-old driver of a white 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser was driving west on Ottawa Road and “failed to yield” to a gray 2007 Chevy Silverado heading north on Central Road.

This caused the Chevy to broadside the PT Cruiser, officials said.
