Phoenix, AZ : 5 hurt in rollover crash on Loop 101 in Scottsdale on Monday morning, March 27, 2017

Five people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries following a rollover crash involving a construction truck Monday morning on Loop 101 in Scottsdale.

The collision restricted traffic along northbound Loop 101 just south of Shea Boulevard.

Kameron Lee, a spokesman with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, said a construction truck rolled over on the freeway just after 6:40 a.m. Two other vehicles were involved in the accident, Lee said.

Dan Ables with the Scottsdale Fire Department said five patients were transported to hospitals with minor injuries.

The wreckage was cleared just before 9:30 a.m. and all lanes reopened, but some spillage remained.
