Orange County ,NC :Charlotte woman among Three dead in I-85 accident on Sunday ,July 19th 2015

A Charlotte woman is among the three people who died in an I-85 crash in Orange County, NC.

Felicia Harris, of Charlotte, was driving a Suzuki when a wrong-way driver hit her Suzuki, according to NC State Highway Patrol.

Troopers say they were called to I-85 near mile-marker 163 to find a head-on collision between a Jeep Wrangler and Harris' Suzuki.

According to reports, Michael Chandler Kania, of Asheboro, was traveling north in the southbound lanes of I-85 when his Jeep collided with Harris' car head-on.

Harris had four people in her car. Three of the four reportedly died upon impact. Harris' front seat passenger and a 6-year-old, sitting in the back seat, are among those who died. Another child, who was also sitting in the back seat, was taken to UNC hospital with serious injuries. Their names have not been released.

Kania was also taken to UNC hospital, and was being treated with minor injuries, according to troopers.

Investigators suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
