Nashville,TN : Pedestrian struck, killed on Briley Parkway on may, friday 5th 2017

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a semi-truck on Briley Parkway near Elm Hill Pike on Friday afternoon, according to Metro police.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the crash was reported at 4:30 p.m.

According to police, there were several reports of a person walking in an out of traffic in the area.

Police are working to identify the victim and determine if their actions were intentional.

Southbound Briley Parkway was down to one lane for several hours but has since reopened.
