WAIKOLOA, HI : 27-year-old man dead following early-morning crash in Waikoloa on Tuesday, 4h June 2024

A 27-year-old man is dead after a single vehicle crash on Waikoloa Road Tuesday.

The crash happened near the 5-mile marker of Highway 191 (Waikoloa Road), where around 1:34 a.m., a silver Lexus sedan failed to veer right with the lane on the roadway and instead, went straight, crossed the double yellow lines, passed over the shoulder, and rolled several times into the rock embankment. The driver was ejected from the car as it was rolling.
