Emporia, KS : Two vehicles were involved in collision on Tuesday, August 1, 2017

Two vehicles were involved in collision in central Emporia Tuesday evening.

Just before 6 p.m., scanner traffic indicated an injury accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Constitution Street in Emporia. When officers from the Emporia Police Department arrived on scene, they found two vehicles which were both upright on all four wheels. Both were said to have sustained moderate front-end damage.

Scanner traffic indicated Constitution Street is blocked off near the location of the accident. Please avoid the area if possible.
