Mount Clemens,MI : Police identify man who died in Macomb Township motorcycle crash on June, thursday 8th 2017

A 56-year-old Macomb Township man killed Wednesday in a motorcycle crash was identified Thursday as Kevin Michael Emery, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office.

Emery was driving a motorcycle when it crashed into an RV motor home about 5:30 p.m. on 23 Mile Road between North Avenue and Card Road, police said.

The victim was driving a Harley Davidson west on 23 Mile when the motor home pulled out from a business onto 23 Mile Road and the two vehicles collided, police said.

Emery died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet and has a motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license, police said.


The driver of the motor home was not injured.

Sheriff’s Deputy Renee Yax said the matter remains under investigation.

Twenty-three Mile Road was closed for several hours Wednesday as police investigated.
