RAYNHAM, MA : Driver cited for texting in Raynham rollover crash in the area of 1136 Locust Street on Saturday, 23rd November, 2019
A 42-year-old Raynham man was cited for texting while driving as a result of an investigation into a rollover crash on Saturday night, according to police.
The crash took place in the area of 1136 Locust St. at 8:41 p.m. on Saturday, when Raynham police and fire departments received a report of a vehicle that left the roadway and rolled over.
Raynham police said that when they arrived, officers found a damaged black 2016 Ford F-150 pickup truck, and discovered that prior to the rollover the the vehicle struck and broke a wooden utility pole.
The driver, who was only identified by police as a 42-year-old man from Raynham, suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash, Raynham police said. The 42-year-old was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton for treatment.
