The driver who allegedly crashed into a Norwood hotel, caused "thousands of dollars in damage," and ran away from the scene has turned himself in, police said. Jacob Roddy, 25, failed to stop at the top of the Interstate 71 exit ramp to Edmondson Road in Norwood and crashed into the kitchen of the Courtyard Marriott, according to a news release from the Norwood Police Department. Roddy then ran from the hotel before police could respond, the release states. No injuries were reported. Roddy turned himself in later Thursday and was charged with failure to control a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an auto accident, police said. source : Car crashes into Norwood hotel
