CHARLESTON, SC : Police searching for car after fatal hit-and-run on the Crosstown on Monday, December 19th 2016

Investigators are searching for a car following a hit-and-run on the Crosstown that left one person dead Monday night.
Charleston police officials say the vehicle sought is a dark colored, full size sedan.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Consolidated Dispatch at 843-743-7200 and ask for the on-duty CPD detective.
According to CPD officials, northbound lanes on the Crosstown at Coming Street, where the incident occurred, is closed as crews work the scene.
Traffic is being re-routed around the incident scene.
The victim was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina.
According to CPD officials, the hit-and-run happened around 7:30 p.m.
Police and EMS crews are on scene.
