MOSS POINT, MS : Moss Point woman killed in Hwy 613 crash on Tuesday, 8th November 2016

A Moss Point woman died Tuesday morning when a truck crashed into her car, forced it off the road where it rolled over. It happened around 7:30am on Highway 613, near Fire House Road.

Investigators said Samuel Martin, 70, also of Moss Point, was traveling southbound in a 1995 GMC 3500 when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a silver 2014 Chevrolet Sport that was northbound. The Chevrolet was driven by Katie Vaughan, 25.

Vaughan was taken to Singing River Hospital where she died from her injuries. Martin was not injured.
