PAWTUCKET, RI : 19-year-old woman died following a serious crash on I-95 on Tuesday, 26th December 2017

A 19-year-old woman died Tuesday following a serious crash on I-95 South in Pawtucket.

According to Rhode Island State Police, the woman’s car left the highway around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Exit 26 and flipped over the embankment.

The woman, later identified as Katlina B. Barbosa, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Barbosa was the only person in the car at the time of the crash. Police said she was found outside of her car but it’s unclear at this time if she was ejected from the vehicle or exited the vehicle on her own.
