Tifton, GA : Georgia State Patrol investigates 33 traffic crashes on Saturday, 13th October 2018

State troopers from the Tifton Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated 33 traffic crashes during the month of September in Tift County.

Sergeant first class Peter Lukas said the traffic crashes resulted in 19 injuries and zero fatalities.

Lukas said troopers from Post 13 also issues 411 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes 10 arrests for driving under the influence, 198 citations for speeding, 48 seatbelt violations and 10 child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 506 warnings in the county.
