Kennewick, WA : Motorcycle driver injured in wreck on 27th Avenue Tuesday, April 4, 2017

A Kennewick man was injured Tuesday when his motorcycle collided with a car on 27th Avenue.

Jared Abbott, 33, was taken to Trios Health with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Sgt. Matt Newton said.

Abbott was driving eastbound on 27th near the intersection with Quillan Street when a Honda Sedan driven by Bernice Herrera of Eltopia pulled out into traffic in front of him, Newton said.

Herrera, who was not injured, was cited for failure to yield, Newton said.
