MACHESNEY PARK, IL : Man killed in single-vehicle crash in the 10000 block of Queen Oaks Drive, Winnebago County on Sunday, 22nd July 2018

A 23-year-old man died after being involved in a single-vehicle automobile crash early Sunday in the 10000 block of Queen Oaks Drive, Winnebago County Coroner Bill Hintz said.

The victim was transported to Mercyhealth Hospital-Rockton Avenue where he was pronounced dead at 1:54 a.m.

The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.

Details about the accident were not available. The death is under investigation of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department.

An autopsy is pending.

Toxicology tests will be available in approximately three weeks.
