Bakersfield, CA : Man involved in fatal motorcycle crash identified on Thursday, December 29th 2016

The Kern County Sheriff's Office has identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash.

Jeffrey Scott Owen, 48, of Taft, crashed into a gate at about 4 p.m. in Fellows, Calif. Thursday, Dec. 29. Owen was taken to Mercy Southwest Hospital where he died from his injuries at 4:47 p.m.

Owen was driving the motorcycle.
