Wells , ME : 28-year-old Amanda Lavoie killed her car went off the road and hit a tree on Saturday ,May 2 2015

An Auburn, Maine, woman has died in a car crash in Wells.

Police say 28-year-old Amanda Lavoie was driving south on Post Road when her car went off the road and hit a tree shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.

Lavoie was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the cause of the crash is being investigated.
