Everett, WA : Motorcyclist dies in collision with truck in south Everett on Tuesday afternoon, April 19, 2016

A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon in a crash in south Everett.

The man was riding northbound on Evergreen Way when a southbound box truck apparently made a left turn in front of him at the intersection with Center Road, said officer Aaron Snell with the Everett Police Department. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The man driving the box truck stayed until police arrived. There was no evidence alcohol or drugs were involved, Snell said.

The 2 p.m. crash caused significant traffic delays for more than an hour. No other injuries were reported.

The ages of those involved and other details were not made public Tuesday.
