Antioch,TN : Motorcyclist killed in high-speed crash on I-24 on April, tuesday 25th 2017
A motorcyclist is dead and the driver of another car was injured after a high-speed crash on Interstate 24 in Antioch.
Just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, witnesses reported a motorcycle and a white car traveling at a high rate of speed in the westbound lanes near Blue Hole Road when the motorcycle crashed into another vehicle.
The motorcyclist was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
The car hit by the motorcycle spun out and hit a guard rail. That driver sustained minor injuries.
The white car that was seen speeding with the motorcycle fled the scene after the crash.
I-24 West was closed for a couple hours Tuesday night while police investigated.
