Orlando,FL : Orlando man dies after pickup crashes into pole on April, Friday 6th 2018

45-year-old Orlando man was killed Friday morning when his vehicle struck a pole, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The man, Timothy Edwards, was traveling north on Alafaya Trail, near Lake Underhill Road, when his 1999 Ford pickup drifted left and crossed the southbound lanes, FHP Lt. Kim Montes said. The pickup left the road and hit a pole, she said.

Edwards, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at Florida Hospital East.

The crash remains under investigation.
