Newbury, VT : Pedestrian minor injuries after hit by car on Friday January 1 2016.

A pedestrian escaped with only minor injuries after being hit by a car in Newbury.
It happened Wednesday just before 7 p.m.
Police say a woman was hit on Main Street as she tried to cross the road.
She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
