Camden County, MO : Overland Park man killed in head-on collision near Lake of the Ozarks Monday morning, July 25, 2016

An Overland Park, Kan. man has died from injuries sustained in a head-on collision on Route TT in the Sunrise Beach area during a rain storm Monday morning. The injuries of two others in the crash are now described as serious.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the driver of a 2003 Chrysler Concorde westbound on Highway TT lost control on wet pavement east of Put-N-Bay Drive around 11:45 a.m. July 25. The vehicle then struck a 1997 Ford F-150 head-on.

The driver of the Chrysler - Jessica F. Teer, 30, of Versailles - received serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital and was later taken to University Hospital.
Arthur W. McNaughton, 78, of Overland Park, Kan. - the driver of the pickup truck - and passenger Bettie L. McNaughton, 79 also received serious injuries.

Arthur was flown by Staff for Life to University Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead at the Columbia hospital at 3:26 p.m.

Bettie was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital and later was taken to University Hospital as well.
All three were listed in the crash report as wearing seat belts.

Arthur McNaughton's death was Highway Patrol Troop F's seventh fatality in July and its 40th in 2016.
