Joplin, MO : A Joplin man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on May, Tuesday 2nd 2017

A Joplin man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 1 a.m. Tuesday on Beef Branch Road, four miles north of Racine in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Eric J. Crabb, 41, left the scene initially but was later located by the patrol.

He was driving a southbound vehicle that ran off the road and overturned, the patrol said.

• A Rocky Comfort resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 76, one mile west of Longview in McDonald County, the state patrol said.

Karen Y. Wahl, 69, was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin with minor injuries, the patrol said.

She was driving a westbound van that collided with a southbound pickup truck driven by Virgil L. Carter, 74, of Rocky Comfort, when Carter pulled into Wahl's path, the patrol said.

• A California man sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 44, a half-mile west of Mount Vernon in Lawrence County, the state patrol said.

Grewal S. Sardeep, 34, of Fresno, California, was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, the patrol said.

Sardeep was driving a westbound semi-truck that ran off the road, struck a median cable and overturned, scattering debris into the eastbound lanes that hit another semi-truck driven by Michael D. Sizer, 50, of Jacksonville, Florida, the patrol said.
