LYNCHBURG, VA : 36-year-old killed, 2 more injured in Route 460 crash in Lynchburg on Wednesday, 3rd September 2024

One man is dead and two others are injured following a car accident onRoute 460 in Lynchburg early Wednesday morning.

At approximately 12:23 a.m., the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) and Lynchburg Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 460 East near Campbell Avenue.

Responding officers found one vehicle on its side and another that came to a rest facing the wrong direction.

The male driver of the roller vehicle, identified as 36-year-old Jose Federico Ramos Alvarez, was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital where he later passed away as a result of his injuries.
