HIAWATHA, IA : Car crashes into school bus in Hiawatha no kids on the bus on Friday, 22nd March 2024

A car crashed into a school bus at 10th Avenue and Blairs Ferry Road in Hiawatha amid wintry weather on Friday morning, police confirmed.

No kids were on the bus when the crash happened, and the driver of the bus was not injured.

Police said the bus was turning and the driver of the car was unable to stop in time.

One person in the car was hurt in the crash.
