Columbus, OH : Two people were injured in a crash on Tuesday, October 3, 2017
Two people were injured in a crash Tuesday morning on Ohio 12, just east of Hancock County 236 in Marion Township, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 9:52 a.m., Ralph Wolery, 91, of Findlay, was traveling east on Ohio 12 in a 2010 Hyundai Sonata when he tried to turn left into the Decker’s Furniture parking lot. The sheriff’s office said Wolery failed to see a westbound 2008 Ford Fusion driven by Angela Bermudez, 39, of Columbus Grove, and his Hyundai was struck by the Ford.
Wolery and Bermudez were both taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance.
Wolery was cited by the sheriff’s office for failure to yield the right of way when turning left.
Assisting at the accident scene were the Washington Township Fire Department, Dick’s Towing, and Mac & Bob’s Towing.
