Irvington, KY : Man killed in suspected drunk driving crash on US 60 Saturday, July 5, 2014
An Irvington, Kentucky man was killed when his car was hit by a pickup truck that police believe was driven by a drunk driver.
Kentucky State Police said William Brown, also of Irvington, was driving west on US 60 Saturday when he crossed the center line, killing James Dupin.
Brown, 21, is charged with second-degree manslaughter and DUI. He is being held at the Breckinridge County jail after being treated for minor injuries at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, according to KSP and Breckinridge County jail records.
The accident happened around 10 a.m. July 5.
Dupin, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This crash was the second fatal accident in Breckinridge County within 24 hours.
