QUINCY, MA : Liberty woman injured in crash on North 36th in Quincy on Sunday, 9th September 2018

A Liberty woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Quincy.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Siera N. Duesterhaus, 27, of Liberty, failed to yield to oncoming traffic while turning left into a private drive from North 36th Street, approximately one-tenth mile south of Ellington Road. The department said Duesterhaus' vehicle was hit by a 1998 Ford F-150 driven by Mathew L. Walbring, 42, of Quincy.

Duesterhaus was taken to Blessing Hospital with moderate injuries. Three other passengers in her vehicle were not injured.

Duesterhaus was cited for failure to yield-left turn, the department said.
