GEISMAR, LA : Early morning crash leaves 1 dead in Ascension Parish on Tuesday, 15th October 2024

A Baton Rouge woman was killed in an early morning crash in Ascension Parish on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Louisiana State Police identified the victim as 36-year-old Tina Gettridge.

According to LSP, the two-vehicle crash happened on LA 30 near Gateway Drive in Geismar just before 5:30 a.m.

The investigation revealed that a 2022 Dodge Charger, driven by 32-year-old William Kaufman of Baton Rouge, was traveling eastbound on LA 30.
