Phoenix, AZ : Car crashes into Tempe cheese steak restaurant on Thursday, September 4, 2014
A Tempe restaurant is cleaning up after a car plowed through the front window to the building.
Geno's Cheesesteaks and Deli on University and McClintock is still open but you can see the aftermath.
Police believe the driver had trouble parking the car and accidentally hit the gas pedal.
Owners say there was a woman sitting to the side of the window who became stuck in the booth, but was luckily okay.
"It's like an explosion. I was in the office and I heard it, we ran out and glass was everywhere, car was in the store, it was horrible," said Toby Martin.
No one was hurt in the crash and officers don't believe alcohol played a factor in this case.
