New London, CT : Three Meriden family family member dies after Sunday crash in Waterford, October 12, 2014

A third member of a Meriden family has died after a weekend crash that also killed two young children. The Record-Journal reports the state medical examiner's office and Yale New Haven hospital officials confirm 26-year-old Darin Robinson died Tuesday night. Robinson's 3-year-old son, Dacari Robinson, died Sunday in the Interstate 95 crash in Waterford. His half-sister, 9-year-old Sanaa Reynolds, died Tuesday. Sunday was her birthday. The family had been visiting relatives in New London. The children's mother, 25-year-old Baughnita Leary, was driving when a tractor-trailer slammed into their car while traffic was slowed. She was less seriously hurt. Donna Regan, an executive of Regan Technologies where Leary works, said the tragedy has "hit the community hard." The company has set up a fund for the family, and other friends have set up a gofundme.com account.
