OGDEN, UT : Authorities identify victim in fatal Ogden Canyon rollover crash on Friday, 25th October 2024

Authorities have identified the individual who was killed in an Ogden Canyon rollover crash on SR-39.

Quincie Holman, 20, of Salt Lake City, was traveling eastbound near milepost 29 in a Hyundai Elantra around 1:30 p.m. when he attempted to pass a Dodge Ram pickup truck in a no-passing zone, according to officials with the Utah Department of Transportation.

Holman reportedly attempted to switch back into the eastbound lane after passing the Dodge, sideswiping it in the process. He then collided head-on with a westbound Mazda 3.

Holman was transported to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
