Berrien Center,MI : Driver killed in three-vehicle crash on M-139 morning on March, Monday 19th 2018

One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash that left a stretch of M-139 in Oronoko Township closed for hours on Monday.

It happened at Hinchman Road, just north of Berrien Springs, at about 11:20 a.m. Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Chief Paul Toliver reported that a northbound pickup truck collided with a northbound car, and pushed the car into the southbound lane. A southbound multi-passenger transport bus collided with the car. Toliver said the driver of the car was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend and was pronounced dead.
