Perryville man killed in Ste. Genevieve crash

A Perryville man was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a 4-wheeler Friday night on U.S. 61 in Ste. Genevieve County. Now a Ste. Genevieve man could be facing charges.According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 22-year old Joseph N. Davis was driving a 1987 Yamaha Warrior northbound on U.S. 61 in Ste. Genevieve County. Davis came to a stop in the roadway, where he was hit from behind by Chad Unterreiner, age 26 of Perryville, who was driving a 2007 Yamaha Raptor.Both men were thrown from their vehicles. Unterreiner was pronounced dead at the scene.Davis received serious injuries and was transported by Air Evac to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Patrol reports state he was arrested and released for DWI and could later be charged with involuntary manslaughter.
