Volusia County, FL : 46-year-old tractor-trailer driver killed in crash on Monday December 7 2015

A 46-year-old tractor-trailer driver was run over and killed by his own rig on Monday after he got out while driving on U.S. 1 in Volusia County.
The driver, who has not been identified, was northbound near Lowndes Avenue when he got out of the vehicle. The truck continued north and hit the driver, a Florida Highway Patrol report said.
After hitting the driver, the truck continued into the southbound lanes, where it hit another vehicle head on.
