Salida, CO : Pedestrian dies on scene at wreck on Friday, January 27th 2017

Tracy Roe, 54, died Friday following a vehicle versus pedestrian wreck in Howard on U.S. 50.
Trooper Tim Ortiz said in a press release that the wreck occurred at about 7:17 p.m.
Christopher Monroe, Howard, was eastbound on U.S. 50 in his 2004 Dodge Durango when he struck Roe who was walking in the eastbound lane.
CSP reported that Roe was pronounced deceased at the scene. Monroe was not injured.
Speed was not a considered a factor in the wreck. Alcohol and drugs in relation to the pedestrian are under investigation.
