Columbia, SC : Woman charged with DUI after crashing into Midlands apartment complex on Friday, 16th September 2016

A woman is being charged with DUI after the Columbia Police Department said she crashed into a Lake Murray Boulevard apartment complex on Friday morning.

Police say the woman crashed her car into an apartment at the Atlantic Apartments. She was taken to the hospital for treatment for her injuries. Police have not yet said how severely she was injured.

She was charged with DUI. Once she is released from the hospital, police say she will be taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
