Anderson County, KY : 20-year-old woman died in a traffic crash on Thursday morning August 14th 2014

An Ohio woman died Thursday of injuries she suffered in a traffic crash in Anderson County, authorities said. The Fayette County coroner's office said Courtney Myers, 20, of Holland, Ohio, died at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where she was taken after the wreck. No cause of death was listed. According to state police reports, Myers was a passenger in a car that collided with a Jeep while turning off U.S. 62 just outside Lawrenceburg. The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. Thursday at U.S. 62 and Hunter Ridge Drive. Funeral arrangements for Myers are pending, according to the coroner's office.
