ATLANTA, GA : 4-car crash shuts down I-285 in DeKalb County on Saturday, 25th November 2023

All lanes were shut down on I-285 W Saturday morning after a “major crash” near Doraville, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at around 6 a.m. before exit 32, which leads to State Route 13 and Buford Highway, officials said. The four-car wreck reportedly started when a car hit a stalled vehicle. One driver was found dead at the scene, DeKalb police said.

Emergency responders worked to clear the road, which re-opened near 9 a.m.
