Kansas City, KS : A person was killed in a motorcycle crash on Monday, September 4, 2017

A person was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday evening at Northgate Street and North Woodland Road in Olathe.

The accident occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Police said that initial reports indicate the motorcycle was traveling south on Northgate toward Woodland, left the roadway, and struck a tree.

The victim, who was not identified by police, was pronounced dead at the scene, a police report said.
